Junior Choir 2010-2011 will begin weekly rehearsals on Wednesday, September 8, 4:30-5:30 pm in the Choir Room!  As well as our twice monthly contribution to worship. The Junior Choir is an RSCMA affiliated Choir and as such the choristers work to earn the ribbons in the RSCMA “Voices for Life” program.  Choir members also form teams representing one of the colors of the church year and compete with each other to earn points during rehearsal, putting their musical skills and knowledge to work. “Choir Notes” has gone electronic and is sent home by e-mail each week to keep parents informed. 

The schedule for the Junior Choir this year is: Sept. 19, Oct. 17, Oct. 31, Nov. 14, Dec. 5, Dec. 24, Jan. 16, Jan. 30, Feb. 9, Feb. 13, Feb. 27, Mar. 13, Apr. 3, Apr. 17 (Palm Sunday), and May 15 (Musical and Awards).

Parents will be assigned a week during the fall and spring to sit as chaperones for the Junior Choir in the balcony. The role of the chaperone is to encourage proper behavior and participation in the service. That schedule will be posted here as well.
