Recycling in and Around Chattanooga
For Chattanooga recycling information visit the Recycle Right website.
At this time, there is a satellite recycling location in Tiftonia/Lookout Valley behind the John A. Patten Center near the now-closed Bi-Lo. It is behind the center, and is accessed from a side street. The City of Chattanooga is building a more permanent building in front of the Center which was scheduled to open sometime in July 2007, but appears to be behind schedule. The new center will take most everything that is recyclable. The Recycle Right website will give you access times and types of recyclables accepted.
For Trenton, GA area residents: Trenton Recycling phone number is 706-657-2776. Location is in downtown Trenton near the Bank of Dade. The Center accepts recycling Monday through Saturday from 7AM to 7PM. Items accepted are as follows: Glass (brown, green, clear); Paper (mixed and news); Cardboard; Plastic (#1 and #2); Aluminum; Tin Cans; Batteries.
